He spent 14 years employed by Tishman Construction and 18 years employed by BOVIS Lend Lease in a variety of roles engaged in project management and project controls. While employed with Tishman he simultaneously proffered his experience in academia as an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Building Technology at NYU and a Visiting Professor at Pratt Institute. Mark co-authored the chapter “Use of Computers in Construction” in the “ASCE Manual on Quality in the Constructed Project” that was published in 1987.

After four decades of working for others, he became a serial entrepreneur founding Foresee Consulting in 2011, 4C Innovations in 2018 and CMX in 2023.

As CEO of Foresee Consulting, a construction management consultancy, Mark set up an organization with a staff of project controls professionals supplying services in the procurement, implementation, and adoption of a variety of web-based Project Management Information Systems. Mark co-authored the white paper “Information Matters, Revolutionizing the Construction Industry through the Adoption of Technology” with Gregory Lance Coburn, Esq., in 2018.

After years of supporting clients in the implementation of PMIS platforms available in the marketplace, the Foresee Consulting leadership team recognized the need to augment the capabilities of existing PMIS platforms. 4C Innovations was formed to develop software that integrates the project team’s information with information contained within other information silos kept throughout the client organization. A user-friendly integration tool entered the market in 2019 and a fully functional tool for cost/budget and resource forecasting went live in 2021.
